Van Mahotsav (Annual tree planting festival) refers to the planting of a large number of trees by all the Indians on one day throughout the year. This policy or festival was held in the year 1950 under Vice-Chancellor Dr. K. It was commissioned by M. Munshi. Since then till today it has been celebrated every year as a festival. Every year its date is fixed in the first week of July, at the same time an appropriate number of trees are planted by small and big organizations or by a group of individuals at appropriate places.

Existing trees require less water to survive, but newly planted trees require more water to thrive. The time of July is the rainy season here, so this time is appropriate for the trees to flourish in the coming few months also the trees are nourished by nature by giving them water from time to time, which means this time is perfect for tree plantation. is applicable.
