According to Panchang, Sawan will last from July 4 to August 31. That is, this time the month of Sawan will be of 58 days. This coincidence is happening after about 19 years. This time due to excess months, Sawan is falling for 2 months.
According to the Panchang, Adhik Maas will start on 18th July and will end on 16th August. Let us tell you that according to the Hindu calendar, an additional month comes every third year, which is called Adhik Maas Malmas and Purushottam month.
There will be a total of 8 Sawan Mondays in the year 2023. Worshiping and anointing Lord Shiva in this month gives special merit. Monday’s worship should be done wearing green, red, white, saffron, yellow, or sky-colored clothes. Bholenath is pleased with this.
